– Jeff Robertson, CEO & Founder

Helping Practices Experience Their Potential for over 22 Years.
Since 1997, Nexsys, a Medical Practice Management Company, has helped physicians in all specialties in states across America. Functional Medicine practices have their own unique challenges. We have spent over 20 years developing solutions to workflow challenges that were proven effective, only to find out they did not work at all in the Functional Medicine Practice.
We have spent over 3 years crafting and modifying our services and solutions to better serve our Functional Medicine clients. The workflow is completely different, the patient relationship is different, the practice model is completely different and we had to appropriately adapt our solutions and services to these differences. We have successfully done that and our clients can attest to this.
With our team’s help you become free to concentrate on what you enjoy the most and what you do best. We help to ensure our client’s work and life is in better balance.
Our practice management services keep you in complete control of your practice and your profits while freeing yourself from the administrative, operational, day-to-day tasks that take you from your patients or your family. We have proven results and we can demonstrate that our solutions and services are more affordable than a full time office manager, biller, bookkeeper, payroll company and our expertise reaches across many platforms that far exceed any one person’s strength or expertise. You get a partner and a consultant to help you grow your practice and refine it.

Our History
How it all started.
Jeff Robertson started his first company, Dynamic Medical Systems, Inc. in 1995 out of a garage and a one-room storage unit. After a period of five years and 50 employees later, Dynamic had successfully become the largest woundcare and therapy equipment provider for the Long Term Care industry in the state of California and one of the top three regional specialized DME companies in the country. Dynamic Medical Systems, Inc. was later acquired by Invacare in September of 2011.
On the heels of his success with Dynamic Medical Systems, Inc., he set out to make his entry into healthcare informatics. He formed Nexsys in November of 1998 as he saw tremendous opportunity in automating the charting process in physician clinics. He was attracted to the intersection of Healthcare and Technology and with the help of his mentor, a PhD in Process Engineering from Stanford University, he began to see the vision of an efficient and effective Electronic Health Record and the role it could play in the outpatient physician’s office. It was under the guiding hand and vision of Dr. Koo that EMR/EHR became his focus for over 10 years as Nexsys was at the forefront of the wave of adoption of the Electronic Medical Record in the outpatient setting.
In 2005 Jeff saw the natural transition from an EHR focused company, into a Revenue Cycle Management Company. Nexsys soon evolved into a service provider that could leverage the clients existing software and infrastructure and build a formidable solution for Revenue Cycle Management and eventual progression into Practice Management.
With the growth of the Revenue Cycle Division, Nexsys found itself being pulled into more services and providing more solutions to our clients. The Practice Management Division was born out of this need. Since 2011 we have focused on providing services beyond Revenue Cycle Management and have increased our role in each of the practices we serve and have matured into a full service Practice Management company providing end to end services and solutions to Outpatient Physician Clinics.
